| For over two decades, Stevens
has specialized in developing and manufacturing high-performance,
scrim-reinforced geomembranes for critical containment applications.
With hundreds of millions of square feet installed worldwide, Stevens
floating covers, liners, and caps are helping to safeguard valuable
natural resources the world over. Stevens Geomembranes are manufactured in the company's state-of-the-art, ISO 9001:2000 registered calendering facility in Westfield, N.C. where computer-controlled mixing and calendering operations provide continuous quality control measuring throughout the manufacturing process. The compound and scrim are evaluated before processing, nuclear scanning of the sheet is completed during the manufacturing process along with statistical QA/QC procedures. Post manufacture destructive and non-destructive testing is performed on the final product to insure conformance to rigid specifications. Two Materials Stevens Geomembranes are available with two high-performance base polymers: Hypalon® (chlorosulfonated polyethylene synthetic rubber), and Polyproplyene. Stevens Polypropylene Geomembranes and Stevens Hypalon® Geomembranes are scrim-reinforced and available in several thicknesses including 36-, 45- and 60- mil (0.9, 1.14 and 1.52 mm). Stevens Geomembranes can be seamed using:
Factory fabricated panels can be made up to 25,000 square feet (2,300 square meters) for delivery to the job site. |
| Applications Stevens Geomembranes are ideally suited for a wide variety of applications where a reinforced membrane is desired, including:
